The Faithfulness of God

This week I've been thinking about how faithful God is. Sometimes it seems we only know that in theory...until we've seen it in action for ourselves. One of the most freeing things ever is being able to take God exactly for his word. I tend to read into things and taking God at his word is often a challenge. I am learning though that if God hadn't intended us to believe what he said, why would he say it to begin with? So, I am practicing taking God at his word and believing that he means exactly what he says.
Do you find this difficult at times? What have you learned about it?
Here's a verse that is coming to mean a lot to me:
Even to your old age I will be the same, and even to your graying years I will bear you!
I have done it, and I will carry you;
And I will bear you and I will deliver you.
Isaiah 46:4
How's that for security?
See you next Tuesday Oct. 7th!
Bring a friend!
